About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Safety Engineer to support the development of complex, safety"‘critical software and ground systems used in Air Traffic Management (ATM). You will ensure full compliance with strict aviation safety, reliability, and regulatory requirements across the software lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead safety activities across the full development lifecycle: FHA, FMEA, FTA, Hazard Analysis, HSIA, FDIR, SAF.
• Ensure adherence to key ATM safety standards and regulations, including EASA DPO Frameworks, ED"‘153, ED"‘109A and ED"‘205A.
• Support SWAL allocation and integrate safety requirements into system design, architecture, and operational concepts.
• Prepare and maintain essential safety documentation such as Safety Plans, Hazard Logs, Compliance Matrices, Safety Assessments and Safety Assurance Files.
• Analyse incidents, anomalies and deviations; participate in investigations and root"‘cause analysis.
• Support internal and external audits, regulatory demonstrations, and compliance reviews.
• Contribute to internal safety processes, documentation, KPIs, and training activities.

Your Profile

• Strong experience in software safety within regulated sectors (Aeronautics, Aerospace, ATM or similar).
• Excellent knowledge of standards such as ED"‘153, ARP4761, ED"‘109A, DO"‘278A or DO"‘178C/ED"‘12C.
• Very good understanding of software development processes.
• Rigorous, analytical, and detail"‘oriented mindset.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills in English; French is a strong advantage.
