Mental Health and Somatic Care Nurse,
70-80%, permanent contract
What if you practised your profession differently?
At clients’ homes, every situation is different. You enter a living environment, create connections, accompany sometimes complex journeys and contribute concretely to maintaining clients at home.
At NOMAD, we are looking for a mental health nurse who wishes to put their clinical, relational and human skills at the service of comprehensive care. A position for those who enjoy variety, autonomy, networking and days that are never the same.
Your role is not limited to mental health. It also involves a somatic care approach, to meet the real needs of clients at home. This versatility is at the heart of the role: understanding the situation as a whole, adapting interventions and building, with the client and their circle, a coherent and personalised support.
Mission Description
In this role, you will be expected to
- assess situations using specific tools, notably the RAI-CMH, to build an adapted care plan;
- support clients and their relatives in complex or crisis situations;
- act as the care reference for several clients and coordinate interventions with the multidisciplinary network;
- also intervene in general care and liaise with somatic care teams, to ensure complete and coherent care;
- bring your perspective in psychiatry and psychogeriatrics within the teams, supporting colleagues;
- support teams and contribute to developing their skills in managing mental health situations.
Profile
- a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or an equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland;
- a mandatory minimum of one year’s full-time experience in psychiatric care in Switzerland;
- a good knowledge of mental health, adult psychiatry and psychogeriatrics;
- true versatility between mental health and somatic care;
- an ability to manage complex situations with perspective, listening and clinical sense;
- ease in working autonomously, in a team and with network partners;
- a desire to share expertise and support colleagues in mental health situations;
We offer
- a varied, human and field-oriented activity, between mental health, somatic care and home support;
- a responsible role, with real autonomy in managing situations;
- stimulating care situations that give meaning to daily work;
- committed teams, with regular supervisions and spaces for exchange;
- a comprehensive integration plan, with training and quality support;
- access to continuing education;
- a vehicle under certain conditions, with advantageous rates;
- working conditions governed by the Collective Labour Agreement CCT Santé 21.
