In this role, you will work in the Asset Management area of the Production department.

Your mission

Your task is to actively contribute to the implementation of the company’s strategic goals as well as to the further development of FMV’s portfolio of hydropower plants and renewable energies. You will manage key dossiers such as the exercise of reversion rights, new concessions, and expansion projects with a structured, committed, and long-term oriented approach.

You will lead and coordinate interdisciplinary project teams and ensure effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders, especially authorities, municipalities, partner companies, and specialised contractors.

Your commitment aligns with the strategic objectives of the Canton of Valais and helps to optimise production potential and regional value creation in the field of renewable energies for the benefit of the Valais community.

Your profile

• University degree in engineering, energy economics, or a comparable field, ideally complemented by good business management knowledge
• Several years of experience in the energy sector in Switzerland, preferably in renewable energies or hydropower infrastructure
• Proven experience in stakeholder management
• Solid experience in leading multidisciplinary projects and coordinating mandate holders, ideally in the role of client
• Strong interest in overarching topics such as politics, environment, energy management, as well as economic and legal issues
• Dynamic and flexible personality motivated to work in a constantly changing environment
• Ability to work independently as well as in interdisciplinary project teams
• Native German or French speaker with very good knowledge of the other language (level B2-C1) and good English skills
