Asset Manager 80-100%
In this role, you will work within the Asset Management sector of the Production department.
Your mission
Your mission is to actively contribute to the implementation of the company’s strategic objectives and to the development of FMV’s and the Valais community’s portfolio of hydroelectric facilities and renewable energies. You manage strategic files such as return rights, new concessions, extension projects, and new assets, with a structured, reliable, and long-term oriented approach.
In this role, you lead and coordinate interdisciplinary project teams and ensure interfaces with internal and external stakeholders, including authorities, municipalities, partner companies, and specialised contractors.
Your commitment aligns with the strategic directions of Valais, aiming to optimise production potential and value creation of renewable energies for the benefit of Valais communities.
Your profile
- Higher education in engineering, energy economics, or an equivalent field, ideally complemented by good business management knowledge
- Proven experience in the energy sector in Switzerland, ideally in renewable energies or hydroelectric infrastructures
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management
- Recognised experience in managing multidisciplinary projects and coordinating contractors, ideally as project owner
- Strong interest in related fields such as politics, environment, energy management, economic and legal aspects
- Dynamic and flexible personality with a desire to act in a constantly evolving environment
- Ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary project groups
- Native German or French speaker with very good knowledge of the other language (level B2-C1) and good English skills
