The Migration Service of the city of Thun has the competencies of a first-instance migration authority. It regulates permit- and registration-required stays for employment, family reunification, education, visits, etc., as well as the various types of residence permits for third-country and EU/EFTA nationals.
We are looking for a temporary caseworker from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement until 31 March 2027
Your tasks:
- Personal advice and support for customers at the residents' services counter on various matters related to residents' affairs
- General administrative tasks and document processing
- Depending on qualification and suitability, additional advanced tasks in the area of residence regulations may be taken on.
You bring with you:
- Completed training in the commercial field or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in municipal administration required
- Enjoyment in contact with people and a strong service orientation
- Communication skills and a sense of responsibility
- IT affinity and confident use of common IT programmes
- Very good German skills and good foreign language skills
