For our Modernization division of the Buildings Division (Structural Engineering) in the Zurich region, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a Planning Manager (m/f/d). In this role, you are responsible for ensuring the overall planning responsibility for a major project in the Zurich city area. Your workplace is our headquarters «Connect» in Opfikon .
What you will drive:
- Overall responsibility for planning all SIA service phases, especially in complex renovation projects
- Ensuring quality, costs, deadlines, and standards as well as contractual safeguarding of planning steps
- Leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary planning teams and external specialists
- Communication hub between client, planning, execution, and authorities
- Implementation and further development of digital processes as well as support in tenders and bidding processes
Why you will succeed:
- Education & Expertise: Completed studies in architecture or civil engineering (FH/ETH) or equivalent qualification; alternatively, HF technician in construction planning with experience.
- Project & Process Management: Certificates such as IPMA, PMI, or HERMES; knowledge in Lean Construction and BIM management.
- Law & Contracts: In-depth knowledge of Swiss construction law (SIA standards, OR), contract law as well as general contractor/subcontractor contracts and risk management.
- Cost, Schedule & Leadership Responsibility: Expertise in construction economics, calculation, controlling; leadership and communication skills for interdisciplinary teams.
- Professional Experience & Competencies: Management of complex renovation projects, application of SIA LPH 1–5, digital processes, strategic risk management, high team skills, and structured working style.
