Track Builder – Track Joint Assembly Employee
Tasks
- Manufacturing and assembling railway technology components according to technical drawings and work instructions
- Reading and understanding switch drawings, track joint drawings, laying plans, and type plans
- Working according to assembly instructions for railway switch drives
- Distributing and precisely positioning the sleepers using a crane
- Marking the rail division according to technical specifications
- Providing and assembling various fastening materials
- Properly tightening the fastenings with a torque machine
- Ensuring the required quality and quantity
Requirements
- Experience in assembly, metalworking, or track construction is an advantage
- Good understanding of technical drawings and assembly plans
- Manual dexterity and technical understanding
- Skilled and confident handling of hand tools
- Experience with cranes is an advantage
- Physical resilience and enjoyment of practical work
- Efficient, reliable, and responsible working method
