- Selection, evaluation and targeted development of suppliers including ensuring quality standards and conducting audits
- Development and consistent implementation of sustainable procurement and supplier strategies to ensure an efficient supply chain
- Analysis of procurement markets as well as conducting cost-effectiveness assessments (e.g. make-or-buy) to create sound decision-making bases
- Identification of saving potentials as well as active risk management (e.g. supply bottlenecks or dependencies) to ensure supply security and efficiency
- Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing in a technical environment, preferably in mechanical or plant engineering
- Solid language skills in German and English, both spoken and written
- Extensive experience in global sourcing as well as in building, realigning and sustainably developing international purchasing and supplier structures
- Very good technical understanding and many years of experience with technical components (mechanical, electrical)
- At least 25 days of holiday

Responsibilities
- Independent negotiation of prices, terms and contracts- Selection, evaluation and targeted development of suppliers including ensuring quality standards and conducting audits
- Development and consistent implementation of sustainable procurement and supplier strategies to ensure an efficient supply chain
- Analysis of procurement markets as well as conducting cost-effectiveness assessments (e.g. make-or-buy) to create sound decision-making bases
- Identification of saving potentials as well as active risk management (e.g. supply bottlenecks or dependencies) to ensure supply security and efficiency
Profile
- Technical or commercial basic training with further education in purchasing, supply chain management or comparable- Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing in a technical environment, preferably in mechanical or plant engineering
- Solid language skills in German and English, both spoken and written
- Extensive experience in global sourcing as well as in building, realigning and sustainably developing international purchasing and supplier structures
- Very good technical understanding and many years of experience with technical components (mechanical, electrical)
