Introduction of the Service: As we prepare to celebrate our 100th anniversary in 2027, we are seeking a Project/Event Coordinator (60-80%) with proven experience in organising high-profile events and fundraising initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the planning, coordination, and execution of a series of exceptional events marking a century of academic excellence.
- Coordinate, and implement a diverse range of events and activities for the 100th anniversary
- Monitor the event calendar and ensure timely execution of all milestones
- Manage event budgets and process invoices
- Coordinate internal and external communications related to the events
- Help develop and implement fundraising strategies, including identifying potential donors, drafting proposals, cultivating relationships, and preparing donor reports
- Maintain and update CRM systems and donor databases; track donations and sponsorships
- Work closely with the Director and Director of Cabinet, under the supervision of the Manager of Strategic Partnerships and Public Relations
- Ensure on-site presence during events: welcome guests, manage logistics, and handle unforeseen issue
- University degree in International Relations, Project Management, Communications, Public Relations or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within academic, cultural, or non-profit institutions
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent multitasking abilities and attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken)
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
- Working with a large international community of users from diverse backgrounds.
