Assembly Electrician EFZ for a Family Business

Assembly electricians are responsible for the assembly and installation of electrical systems in buildings. Their tasks include laying cables, installing switch boxes, switches, and lighting systems, and connecting electrical devices. Furthermore, they create the connections from the house connection to the sockets and ensure that all installations comply with the applicable safety regulations. This position requires both technical understanding and manual skills to perform the various tasks efficiently and safely. Assembly electricians often work on construction sites and must be able to read and implement technical plans accordingly. Teamwork and careful working methods are also crucial to ensure the quality of installations and customer satisfaction. In this role, you are an important part of the construction process and contribute to the safety and functionality of electrical systems in residential and commercial premises. You work closely with other trades and are responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations meet the highest standards. Your ability to quickly identify problems and find solutions is valued and encouraged. We expect:
Prepare installation work:
  • Read and understand technical plans.
  • Prepare materials and tools and order them if necessary.
  • Store and organise materials on the construction site.
  • Install the power supply on the construction site and ensure everything functions properly.
  • Determine, based on the plans, where sockets, switches, or switch boxes should be installed.


    • Install devices and systems:
  • Install flush-mounted boxes that will later be used for device connections.
  • Lay conduit pipes in ceilings and walls to ensure a safe and proper installation.
  • Lay cables, connect sockets, switches, and switch boxes while observing technical specifications and safety regulations.
  • Install and connect security systems and other electrical devices to ensure the safety of electrical installations.


    • Complete electrical installations:
  • Test and commission the electrical installations you have carried out yourself to ensure everything functions perfectly.
  • Use measuring devices to adjust settings for voltage, current, and power to ensure the correct operation of the systems.
  • Record completed work in reports to ensure comprehensive documentation.
