About the job
The Solothurn Centre Oberwald Foundation supports, accompanies and promotes people with disabilities of all ages as a result of congenital and acquired impairments, illnesses and accidents in a targeted and individual manner. This takes place at locations in Biberist and Zuchwil. Across the entire foundation, around 200 employees are consistently committed to preserving, further developing and regaining valuable skills – for an inclusive life and participation in society..
At our locations in Biberist and Zuchwil, we offer training places in the health and care sector from 01.08.2027.

These are your responsibilities
- You care for, accompany and look after people with disabilities in everyday life
- You assist with household tasks and the organisation of the residential group
- You work interdisciplinarily with other departments
- You perform medical-technical procedures (e.g. measuring blood pressure, changing dressings, administering medication) and care services according to the training plan
- You support people with disabilities in their physical, social and psychological well-being and in organising their daily lives
What you bring with you
- You enjoy working with people
- You have completed a one-year internship or pre-vocational year before the apprenticeship. (Our open internship positions can be found at zentrumoberwald.ch/stellen.)
- You are flexible, patient, respectful and curious
- You are physically and mentally resilient
- You have good oral and written German skills as well as IT knowledge
- You are willing to work irregular hours
