Development Engineer Simulation

YOUR CHALLENGES

• Support product development by conducting advanced simulations in structural mechanics (FEM), thermal analyses, and elastomers
• Promote innovations by actively participating in technology and product development cross-functional projects
• Identify and recommend design improvements based on simulation results and proven engineering methods
• Plan and conduct laboratory experiments to validate simulation models and support model development
• Integrate simulation and experimental data using metamodeling techniques to improve prediction accuracy
• Build and maintain strong external networks with research institutions and development partners to stay at the forefront of innovation
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing by actively participating in our competence communities

YOUR SKILLS

• Education: Degree in engineering or applied sciences with a strong mechanical focus
• Simulation experience: Proven experience in structural mechanics and finite element analysis (FEA), ideally with Ansys Mechanical
• Programming skills: Familiarity with programming, preferably Python, to support simulations and data analyses
• CAD skills: Experience with CAD tools is an advantage, especially Siemens NX
• Practical & systematic thinking: Ability to combine hands-on experiments with a structured, analytical approach
• Teamwork: Enjoy collaborating in diverse, global, and fast-paced teams
• Analytical & communicative skills: Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication of technical concepts
• Thermal analyses: Solid understanding of heat transfer principles and their application in an engineering context
• Language skills: German & English
