Plant Operator for Waste Paper Processing and Fluidized Bed Furnace in 4-Shift System 100% (m/f/d)
Tasks
Exciting tasks with freedom and responsibility:
- Plant expert: You control the heart of our paper production, monitor the waste paper processing plant and the fluidized bed furnace, and ensure smooth operation. You also ensure that all units function and that the paper input is correct according to the recipe and whiteness specification.
- Organizational talent: You manage daily tasks, perform water analyses, maintenance work, and cleaning tasks, and ensure the replenishment of auxiliaries.
- Technical all-rounder: You support repairs, cover changes, and process problems. Your ideas for optimizing production processes are in demand.
Profile
This is what characterizes you:
- Training and experience: You have completed mechanical or technical training, e.g., as a plant operator, mechanic, locksmith, or plumber, or have several years of experience with industrial plants. Ideally, you have experience as a heating plant operator.
- Willingness to further education: You have solid knowledge as a heating plant operator or are interested in completing further training with our support.
- Shift readiness: You feel comfortable in a 4-shift operation. We work in a rotating 7-day shift model, where you work seven consecutive days in the same shift – including weekends and holidays. Depending on the rhythm, you have 56 to 80 hours of free time between shift changes.
- Personal qualities: You are skilled in craftsmanship and technology, a team player, work independently and thoughtfully, and can communicate well in German.
- Systems: You have experience with process control systems and are familiar with (process engineering) plants and MS Office.
- Mobility: You have your own car or good public transport connections to start punctually at the beginning of the shift.
