On behalf of 28 municipalities with a catchment area of over 100,000 people, we work with great commitment, low-threshold access, and networking in the following areas: Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB), professional guardianship, social counselling, mother and father counselling, addiction counselling, and school social work.
KESB Authority Member
The KESB (Child and Adult Protection Authority) is responsible for ensuring the protection of children, adolescents, and adults who are unable to independently obtain the necessary support for themselves.
Your tasks
- Management/instruction of procedures and conducting investigations within the KESB
- Individual and collegial decisions in child and adult protection
- Issuing investigation and expert report mandates to third parties
- Conducting hearings
- Professional supervision of ongoing measures
- Instruction/advice for professional and private guardians
- Cooperation with specialist agencies, municipalities, and institutions in child and adult protection
- Case-independent public relations work of the KESB authority
Your profile
- Completed degree in law, preferably with a lawyer’s licence
- Several years of professional experience, preferably in family law
- Knowledge of civil and administrative legal procedures
- Driving licence category B
- Resilient, assertive, and integrous personality with team spirit
- Excellent communication skills and confident written expression
- Strong affinity for interdisciplinary collaboration as well as for the municipal structures of a region
- Ability to set priorities
- Empathy for people in difficult life situations
