Part-time socio-assistance operators (90 km/h) - full-time (100%), at the Cantonal Socio-Psychiatric Organisation (OSC), Residential, Recreational and Work Centre (CARL)

Class and annual salary (including 13th month salary):

3 52,756.-- / 81,560.--

Tasks:

• participates based on directives issued by the CARL Director and within specific competences, in drafting the rehabilitative and socio-educational development plan for residents for whom they act as a reference figure, assisted by a nurse and/or an educator
• performs essential interventions to adequately manage behavioural issues of residents, while promoting their autonomy and psycho-physical well-being
• participates in all rehabilitative, social and professional integration activities necessary to implement the objectives set by the educational work for each individual
• collaborates with internal and external operators involved in the care of residents
• executes and ensures medical prescriptions and therapeutic interventions authorised by their specific training or other received instruction
• organises their activity within the four presence shifts, including nights, to ensure continuity of educational care

Requirements:

• Federal Certificate of Competence (AFC) as a socio-assistance operator (specialising in people with disabilities)
• flexibility and good adaptability
• availability to work shifts
• motivation to work in a team
• knowledge of the territory, institutions and the social-health network of the Canton Ticino
• perfect command (conversation and writing) of the Italian language and knowledge (spoken) of another official language
• proven experience in the psychiatric field

Special remarks:

• employment rate: one position at 100% and one position at 90%. Candidates are invited to indicate their preferred percentage in their application

• working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment relationship), flexible or according to service needs
