Who are we?
The Social Welfare Service (SPS) supports and coordinates the implementation of policies relating to people with disabilities and seniors. It plans the provision of services and manages the financing as well as the supervision of specialised institutions under its responsibility. It plans the needs for places in medico-social establishments (EMS), the needs for home care and assistance, and grants subsidies to people who cannot finance their stay in EMS. It is also responsible for financing the residual costs of care.
