The Personnel Office of the Canton of Zurich is the centre of expertise for all personnel, labour, and social insurance law matters concerning over 35,000 employees of the Canton of Zurich as well as many public-law institutions and municipalities.

We are in the midst of an exciting and far-reaching HR transformation phase. For this, we are looking for a professional who knows the HR finance and payroll world from practical experience and at the same time has a good understanding of IT systems and digital processes. In this role, you will take on the professional responsibility for our financial applications in the HR environment and further develop systems, products, and processes together with the specialist departments and IT.

Your tasks

• Professional application responsibility as Business Owner for SAP S/4ZHSpesen as well as other financial applications in the HR environment
• Further development and support of the applications as well as the associated canton-wide business processes in the area of HR financial tools
• Ensuring the interface between HR systems such as H4S4 and SAP FI/CO
• Professional support, process consulting, and preparation of evaluations and reports
• Project management and collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams
• Analysis, optimisation, and standardisation of payroll processes up to accounting
• Ensuring data quality in the interaction between HR, payroll, and financial systems

Your profile

• Business administration education (university, university of applied sciences) or comparable qualification with further training in HR, finance, or payroll, business informatics
• Extensive professional experience in the HR environment and very good understanding of HR processes and their interrelations
• Experience with HR applications and finance-related tools in the HR environment as well as in their professional support and further development
• Practical experience in payroll accounting or payroll area and understanding of the corresponding processes
• High IT affinity as well as good understanding of data flows and interfaces and systems thinking
• Knowledge of SAP H4S4 and SAP FI/CO; HERMES knowledge is an advantage
