Job Description

Thanks to the skills and technical knowledge acquired throughout your Bachelor, you provide personalized and comprehensive nursing care under medical delegation to a diverse patient population facing situations of varying complexity. Your rigor, excellent organizational skills, and sense of responsibility allow you to fully commit to your profession. You provide safe and high-quality care in a preventive, curative, and palliative manner. 

By nature reactive, with very good stress and priority management, you analyze clinical situations and adapt to the context as well as unforeseen events. Your learning abilities and consideration of feedback allow you to continuously improve your professional practice. 

Thanks to your team spirit, you work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and also demonstrate autonomy. You participate in the supervision and clinical teaching of new nursing staff and other healthcare personnel.  

Your interpersonal skills, empathy, and sense of service enable you to develop and promote the quality of care and contribute to research in the health field.  

Motivated and attentive to everyone, you are a dynamic person ready to invest yourself in a large institution whose values you share.

Qualifications

You have, or are about to obtain, a Bachelor of Science HES in Nursing class of 2026 and wish to join the nursing teams of the HUG ?   

We offer a recruitment campaign dedicated to First Employment positions with the recruitment process as follows :   

1. Application :  Your application file must include your curriculum vitae mentioning your various internships as well as a letter detailing your motivation to hold a First Employment position at the HUG. A copy of your diplomas as well as any work certificates must be added to your application. For those who have already obtained their Bachelor, you can also attach your certificate of success.

The First Employment recruitment process concerns the entire institution. Therefore, positions may open in the various care fields and at the different Geneva sites of the HUG. Thus, a geographic mobility and openness to the different care fields of the institution are required. When applying, you answer several questions concerning notably your availability and your preferred care fields. These different answers will support the exchange we will have during your interview and will be studied in view of the institutional needs for nursing staff.  

2. Orientation interviews : The interviews will take place with a person from the Talent and Leadership Service in person. They will be held during June 2026.
