Risk Officer

About the job

As part of its development, Banque du Léman is looking for a Risk Officer at 100%.

Reporting to the Risk Management Department, you will strengthen the existing team by bringing your skills and experience.

Your main duties:

• Financial risks - risks related to balance sheet management: Ensure compliance with legal requirements regarding capital, liquidity, and interest rate risk management;
• Conduct stress tests and scenario analyses under adverse commercial conditions;
• Credit risks: Assess the risk level of the credit portfolio;
• Risk analysis of mortgage credit files and corporate loans;
• Operational risks: Contribute to implementing systems and procedures to ensure the efficiency and integrity of processes;
• Cyber risk and IT risks;
• Rapid and direct management of problematic situations and training, raising awareness among first line control actors;
• Monitor risk tolerance levels and limits set in the risk management policy at the institution level (indicator tracking);
• Prepare quarterly risk reports;
• Establish guidelines related to your area of activity.

What we are looking for:

• Holder of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position or in banking audit (Big 4);
• Good understanding of risks in the banking sector;
• Excellent proficiency in office tools (notably Excel, PowerBi) as well as banking tools (Finnova is a plus);
• Strong adaptability and learning ability;
• Excellent analytical, synthesis, and writing skills;
• High sense of rigour;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit with a strong ability to work independently;
• Fluency in French, German is a plus.
