To complement our well-established and motivated team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement at our headquarters in Urdorf near Zurich for a proactive, independent, and motivated Integration Engineer and Tester (m/f/d).

Job Description

• Develop a deep technical understanding of our overarching control systems
• Carry out integration tasks to ensure comprehensive communication between system controls (third-party suppliers) and our control systems:
  • Receive data point information from third-party suppliers for further processing on our side
  • Create and supplement our MMI
  • Create meaningful information aggregations/summaries
  • Create "if-then" links for event cases
• Take responsibility for comprehensive testing:
  • Independently conduct in-house tests including documentation
  • Prepare test appointments with third-party suppliers and customers independently
  • Arrange and conduct appointments independently with internal and external parties
  • Produce high-quality, comprehensible reports
  • Coordinate with the development department regarding necessary adjustments to the software to be tested based on test results. Document technical issues in ticket systems
  • Ensure that necessary adjustments are available on time
  • Conduct commissioning tests (remote and on-site, night shifts possible)
• Create, maintain, and manage automated test cases and metrics to measure success
• Continuously improve tools and process documents

Qualifications

• Professional experience in the IT industry
• Experience testing complex systems
• Understanding of technical contexts to derive test cases
• Experience in test automation (TestCafe, Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, etc.)
• ISTQB certification (or willingness to obtain it)
• Very good knowledge of German and English (French is a plus)
• Independent, precise working style, perseverance, and persistence
• Good appearance towards customers and suppliers
• High motivation to explore systems and find errors
• Ability to formulate problems precisely and comprehensibly
• High resilience and ability to keep a cool head in stressful situations with high quality demands
• Service-oriented and excludes errors on own side before searching externally
• Proactive and attentive to surroundings
• Basic knowledge of relational databases (SQL) is advantageous
