Welcome to the DevOps Team Appfinity at Zürcher Kantonalbank! We are responsible for the operation and continuous development of various in-house developed software solutions and the integration of purchased software products in the Bank Management portfolio – including the areas of Treasury, Accounting, and Controlling. In doing so, we actively shape our application landscape and solution architecture and develop it step by step.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Full Stack Developer with knowledge in application integration or the willingness to learn it, who also enjoys contributing to architectural questions and co-designing technical solution designs. Your Tasks
- Collaborate in our self-organised and interdisciplinary Scrum team within the SAFe framework
- Implement functional and technical requirements in the backend (Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch) and frontend (TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3)
- Further develop and maintain the purchased software products and deepen your knowledge in application integration
- Ensure the continuous development and stable operation of the systems within the DevOps philosophy
- Develop technical concepts, analyses, and designs for new features in close collaboration with internal business units and external software partners
- Responsible Solution Architect in the DevOps team, responsible for the further development of our application and solution architecture (e.g. integration concepts, interface design, event-driven approaches)
- Work closely with solution architects and other development teams in elaborating technical solution designs
- Introduce new technical and methodological impulses and promote open, transparent communication within the team
Your Profile
- Completed studies in computer science or a comparable education in the IT field
- Several years of professional experience in developing modern web applications, ideally with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript
- Experience as an application manager or system integrator throughout the entire lifecycle of Windows applications (introduction, operation, maintenance) or willingness to acquire this knowledge
- Experience in contributing to application or solution architectures
- Good knowledge of Continuous Integration & Delivery (e.g. CloudBees/Jenkins, Maven, Tomcat, Nexus, GitLab) and working with Windows environments
- Know-how with Kafka and cloud is a plus
- You are a team player, enjoy diving into new topics, and actively share your know-how within the team
- You like to view systems holistically – from the application through integration and operation to architecture – and take responsibility throughout the entire product lifecycle
- Very good German skills (at least C1 level) in spoken and written form
