About the job
Digitalisation in healthcare is crucial for the quality of care of tomorrow. As a Consultant for Clinical Information Systems, you actively shape the digital transformation in Swiss hospitals and clinics. You bridge the gap between core medical-nursing processes and modern IT architecture.
In this interface role, you accompany demanding implementations of clinical information systems, optimisation projects, and change processes from the initial process analysis through requirements management to successful on-site commissioning.
Our client is an established and highly specialised Swiss consulting boutique focused on digital transformation in healthcare and the public sector. A highly qualified, interdisciplinary team of medical informaticians, business economists, and IT specialists jointly develops practical digital solutions with tangible added value together with hospital management.
- Projects & Implementation: You support the selection, design, adaptation, and introduction of modern clinical information systems as well as related subsystems.
- Interface & Consulting: You act as a valued contact person and link between hospital IT, medical-nursing professionals, and external software manufacturers.
- Change Management & Enablement: You support on-site teams in introducing new digital processes, conduct user workshops, and ensure a smooth transition to regular operations.
- Project Management: You take on (partial) project management responsibility and ensure compliance with quality, deadlines, and budget according to proven project methods.
- Professional Experience: At least 2 years of practical experience in supporting, introducing, or optimising clinical information systems gained in a clinic, at a software manufacturer for clinical information systems, or in an IT consultancy.
Expertise:
- Profound understanding of clinical treatment pathways and hospital processes.
- Familiarity with common clinical information systems on the Swiss market (e.g. ORBIS, CGM CLINICAL, Epic, CISTEC/KISIM, KIS-IMED or comparable platforms).
- Knowledge of project management methods (agile and classical).
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, empathy in dealing with medical professionals, and enjoyment in moderating workshops.
- Mobility & Working Style: High willingness to travel within Switzerland for on-site project work with hospital clients as well as enjoyment of personal exchange within the team.
- Interdisciplinary Exchange: Close knowledge transfer in an expert team of consultants from various disciplines (IT, medicine, business, and law).
- Development & Further Training: Individual support, certifications, and diverse career opportunities in the company’s expansion.
- Top Workplace: Modern infrastructure standard in a prime, central location in Zurich as well as progressive and sustainable employment conditions.
