Head of SwissHealth Ventures (Corporate Venture Capital) 80-100%
This is what your daily work looks like
- You manage the entire investment process from deal sourcing through due diligence, deal structuring, valuation, negotiations to closing.
- For this, you take on the professional and personnel leadership of the 3-person SwissHealth Ventures team.
- Within the digital health ecosystem, you expand the existing network of founders, investors, clinics, universities, and other, including international, partners, actively maintain it, and thus ensure a high-quality deal flow.
- Together with internal departments such as product development, service management, or purchasing, you identify synergy potentials between portfolio companies and CSS.
- You are responsible for the ongoing monitoring of the fund and individual investments including reporting and KPI management, both from a financial and strategic perspective.
- With transparent communication, you keep the executive management, board of directors, and other committees informed about the deal pipeline and portfolio development.
- You ensure appropriate governance, decision-making, and reporting structures.
- You align the strategic direction of SwissHealth Ventures with the overall strategy of CSS and shape it in close exchange with executive management and the board of directors.
This is what you bring with you
- You have several years of solid experience in venture capital, corporate venture capital, or private equity and ideally have already led teams or interdisciplinary projects with high strategic relevance.
- You are familiar with digital health and have practical experience in areas such as HealthTech, MedTech, or e-health – ideally combined with in-depth knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system or the health insurance industry.
- You are confident in financial analysis, company valuation, term sheets, and deal structuring.
- You quickly recognise the strategic relevance of innovations for a health insurer and the Swiss healthcare system and know how to unlock these potentials through a corporate venture fund together with internal departments.
- You hold a university or university of applied sciences degree in a relevant field such as business administration, finance, medicine, health economics, or computer science; an MBA or doctorate is an advantage.
- With strong entrepreneurial thinking, high implementation strength, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills, you convince founder teams, experts, executive management, and the board of directors.
- You express yourself very confidently in spoken and written German and English; French is a plus.
