The Red Cross Baselland is committed to supporting people in need with a variety of services. Around 120 employees and more than 500 volunteers help in emergency situations, engage in further education, health promotion, and integration of the population in the Basel region.
For the schritt:weise program, we are looking for an employee on an hourly wage basis / approx. 20% annual working time (no fixed hours, no assignments during school holidays) in the municipality of Birsfelden starting mid-October or by arrangement.
Your tasks:
- Conduct weekly home visits to several families in Birsfelden
- Prepare and follow up on home visits, supported by the coordinator
- Write documentation
- Participate in training and further education
- Assist with regular group meetings
Your profile:
- Experience with own children
- Empathetic interaction with small children and their families
- Interest in early childhood development and parent education
- Good communication skills, reliable and committed personality
- Residence in Birsfelden (mandatory)
- Good personal networking and social contacts in Birsfelden
- Knowledge of family services in Birsfelden (mandatory)
- Open to different cultures and religions
- Migration experience is an advantage
- Time flexibility
