About the job
You will become part of an international, technically diverse team that supports and further develops the SRMS platform (Service & Maintenance Management based on HxGN EAM / Octave Attune EAM) for railway operators worldwide. We ensure that our customers can reliably maintain their fleets – with modern tools, agile methods, and a great deal of personal responsibility.
YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Development, operation, and maintenance of interfaces between SRMS and peripheral systems
- Design and implementation of data flows (XML, JSON, CSV) via Databridge Pro (Apache NiFi), DCC, REST, and SOAP
- Country-specific interface adjustments and rollouts for international locations
- Support of the SRMS server landscape (PROD, TEST, DEV) including JBOSS, SSO configuration
- Execution of server migrations and platform relocations (On-Prem → Cloud)
- Database maintenance, optimisation, and migrations (MS SQL Server)
- Ensuring platform compliance in collaboration with the CISO
- Architecture development and coordination with Group IT
- Co-design of the technical roadmap for the SRMS platform
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation in Confluence
- Error analysis and incident management for disruptions in integrations and data flows
Four planned maintenance windows per year outside core working hours as well as a rotating on-call duty are part of the job – this is how we jointly ensure smooth operation for our customers.
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or similar
- Experience with integration technologies such as Databridge Pro or SAP Integration Suite (middleware, ETL, data flows)
- Knowledge of SQL and database systems (MS SQL Server)
- Understanding of server administration (Windows Server, Linux)
- Experience with XML/JSON/CSV processing and interface protocols (REST, SOAP)
- Ideally knowledge of Apache NiFi, EAM systems, or comparable industry software
- Interest in security topics and architectural work
- Independent, structured working style
- Good German and English skills
