The position is attached to the Department of Women, Children and Adolescents , which is tasked with providing quality care tailored to the needs of women at every stage of their lives and addressing the health issues faced by newborns, children and adolescents from birth up to the age of 16. It works on developing cutting-edge services and centres of expertise in specialities.

The Corail Centre supports children with rare and/or complex diseases as well as their families. As part of this development and at the request of the HUG Private Foundation, a study evaluating the impact of care on the families currently followed is being conducted.

This evaluation will explore the economic, social and educational challenges related to the family environment. The results will enable the establishment of precise indicators and the adjustment of the Corail Centre’s strategic objectives to best adapt its care and support offer.

Under the responsibility of the project manager, you will oversee the operational implementation of the research project and ensure its overall coordination.

You will draft and submit the file to the Research Ethics Committee.

You will manage the administrative follow-up of the project, define and monitor indicators, and write financial reports and the final report.

You will organise and facilitate focus groups bringing together parents in a participatory research approach.

You will collect, process and analyse qualitative data to derive actionable results.

You will formulate concrete recommendations aimed at redirecting the centre’s care and support offer.

You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.

A Master’s degree in health or a Doctorate in health sociology is an asset.

You master qualitative research methods and have proven experience in participatory research.

You have practical experience in conducting and facilitating focus groups with parents or families.

You have experience in coordinating research projects and are proficient in managing socio-health studies.

You are familiar with regulatory procedures related to research as well as submission processes to ethics committees.

You demonstrate scientific rigour, autonomy, excellent analytical and writing skills, and are sensitive to issues related to paediatrics and family support.

You will work daytime hours and on Saturdays and public holidays as required by the service.
