Internal Transport Team Leader

Micarna SA, a company of the Migros group specialised in the processing of meat, poultry, eggs and seafood, is looking for an Internal Transport Team Leader. A key role to coordinate operations, supervise the team and ensure an efficient logistical flow on a daily basis.

What you will achieve

• Manage a team of 7 to 10 people working in different shifts
• Ensure coordination of activities within the internal transport sector
• Develop and update work schedules for employees and provide training for new arrivals in the sector.
• Work on continuous improvement within the department
• Provide support in administrative tasks related to personnel management

What you bring

• Education: Completed professional apprenticeship (CFC)
• Specialisation: CFC in logistics or equivalent training
• Professional experience: 1-2 years in a similar position
• You have successful initial experience in team leadership
• Friendly, flexible and organised by nature, you are also conscientious and autonomous
• You are proficient with standard IT tools (MS Office, SAP)
• You are available for 2x8 shift work and Saturdays on a rota
• You have good physical constitution (temperature from 3 to 15 degrees)
• French (B2)
• German (ADVANTAGEOUS)
