Job description:
In your new role, your duties will impact the quality of care for the residents. Your role will notably include,
- Developing the autonomous nursing role and nursing attitude: organising, planning, and implementing the care of residents within the geriatric or psycho-geriatric service of the EMS
- Ensuring leadership of the nursing team (composed of nursing assistants, ASA, nursing aides, and ASSC)
- Developing personalised care for residents
- Collaborating within an interdisciplinary team
- Communicating and recording observations in a targeted and relevant manner in the residents’ electronic records
- Supervising nursing students and ASSC apprentices
Required profile:
We are confident in your rapid success in your future role thanks to your:
- Strong interest in the care of elderly and/or dependent persons and/or those with cognitive disorders
- Assertiveness in the role; experience in EMS or acute care would be an asset
- Patience, empathy, active listening, high skills in verbal and non-verbal communication
- Good physical and psychological resilience
Education level:
Bachelor of Science HES-SO in Nursing required (or equivalent qualification recognised by the Swiss Red Cross)
