The Mikron Tool Training Team programme allows young recent graduates/diploma holders to enter the working world through a specific training programme lasting a total of 18 months. During the first 12 months at our sites in Agno and Rottweil (DE), there will be targeted training on technical knowledge and applications of cutting tools. This is followed by a 6-month transfer to our sites in Connecticut (USA) or Shanghai (China) where the acquired knowledge can be applied.

For our next recruitment in Agno, we are looking for a young candidate preferably a native French speaker to join the Mikron Tool Training Team programme

Your main tasks

• Participate in a structured technical training path on cutting tools, machining processes, and related applications
• Acquire practical and theoretical knowledge of Mikron Tool products and their applications with customers and partners.
• Use software and technical tools for analysis, selection, and optimisation of solutions
• Collaborate with international and multidisciplinary teams across various sites, contributing to projects and operational activities.
• Support technical and customer service activities by applying the skills acquired during the programme, putting into practice the knowledge developed during the training period (at the USA or Shanghai site)

Your profile

• University diploma or higher in mechanical engineering
• Native French speaker or bilingual Italian-French
• Additional knowledge of German is a plus
• Proactive and ambitious person ready for a professional challenge in a dynamic and expanding environment
• Strong interest in technical innovation and the search for new solutions
• Residence in Canton Ticino
