CVSE Execution Specialist

Job Objectives

• Launch CVSE lots on projects identified as having technical challenges
• Develop technical variants
• Effectively finalize "ready-to-issue" submissions
• Ensure reliability of subcontractors' variant proposals
• Award services exhaustively at the best prices
• Deliver perfectly functional works
• Guarantee quality, compliance, and proper technical integration of installations in the works.
• Provide technical support to project and site teams
• Ensure effective collaboration with planners, subcontractors, and project managers to guarantee the technical and economic success of operations.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Operate throughout the Western region to support projects in the preparation phase.
• Participate in site preparation by validating execution plans, technical choices, and interfaces.
• Research relevant technical variants
• Lead contractor meetings during site preparation phase
• Control compliance of plans, diagrams, and submissions
• Validate submissions before sending
• Validate companies' variant proposals
• Support project teams in technical and financial negotiations
• Occasionally audit technical installations during work progress, considering compliance with contractual and normative requirements.
• Assist the project team in implementing technical solutions post-audits
• Support the project team in preparation and follow-up for technical receptions, commissioning tests, and defect rectifications.
• Contribute to capitalizing on feedback and continuous improvement of internal processes related to the management of technical installations.

Profile Sought

• Technical training in CVSE, thermal engineering, building, or equivalent (CFC + ES/HES or engineering degree).
• Proven experience of 5 to 10 years in coordination or execution of CVSE technical lots, ideally in general contracting, total contracting, or an engineering office.
• Perfect mastery of SIA standards, Swiss regulations, and energy requirements (Minergie, SIA 380/1, etc.).
• Experience in complex building projects; renovation experience is an asset.
• Rigor, autonomy, and sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate with different stakeholders.
• Proficiency in common IT tools.
• Good level of spoken and written French; German or English is an asset.
