HES Teaching Master for the Occupational Therapy Programme
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Attached to the Occupational Therapy programme, you design and deliver teaching in the preparatory year and Bachelor training while participating in the development, management and coordination of training activities within the programme in collaboration with the programme leaders and colleagues.
Furthermore, you collaborate in organising the practical training of students, in developing relationships with professional environments and also in organising courses with other health programmes.
You conduct practical training follow-ups while assuming module responsibilities by supervising students and directing Bachelor projects.
Finally, you provide services, contribute to research and development projects as well as knowledge transfer.
DESIRED PROFILE
You hold a Master’s degree in a discipline relevant to occupational therapy (in occupational science, health, education, rehabilitation, etc). Your area of expertise concerns the mental health of adults and elderly people, ageing and dementia.
You have a minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in occupational therapy; teaching experience in a university of applied sciences would be an additional appreciated asset for this position.
Moreover, you have didactic training or are willing to acquire it; training in interprofessionality and simulation-based learning can be a plus. You have a good command of English; knowledge of German is an additional asset.
You have a good knowledge of the international literature in occupational therapy and occupational science, complemented by a good aptitude for using technological tools.
You demonstrate autonomy, initiative and the ability to participate in research projects, as well as to work in a team and collaborate within a demanding training framework.
