During your internship, you have the chance to gain insights into the Research and Development department of GF Piping Systems. Our goal is to purposefully advance the development of our products and to discover and sustainably improve new ways in collaboration with internal specialist departments. As a full team member among engineers, you will work directly on various current projects and coordinate independently with the relevant departments. Therefore, we offer internships in the R&D area starting from August 2026 or by arrangement.
Your tasks:
- Support in current development projects in the diverse fields of mechanical engineering, plastics technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering, and the development of prototypes as well as product concepts
- Execution and development of tests on prototypes in our innovation laboratory
- Evaluation and presentation of your test results within the team
- Support in daily business, the project team, and possibly taking over (partial) projects
- Competitive analyses and support for product management
Your profile:
- Student or graduate in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, plastics technology, industrial engineering, systems engineering, or a similar area, also without a technical focus
- Completed vocational training, A-levels or equivalent as a preliminary internship for studies or orientation internship possible
- Practical experience, e.g. through initial professional experience, hobbies, training, internships is an advantage
- Open personality, team player and technically interested
- Independent, goal-oriented working style with the motivation to contribute and implement your own ideas
- Confident handling of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
- Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
