About the job

Our client, BVS Packaging Systems AG, is an established Swiss company specialising in efficient, safe and sustainable packaging solutions for industry and commerce. As a reliable packaging partner, BVS supports its customers throughout the entire packaging process – from consulting and system integration to service, maintenance and after-sales. At the Urdorf location, around 30 employees work, with the company employing over 60 employees in Switzerland, Germany and Austria in total.

To strengthen the service team, we are looking for a technically skilled, reliable and customer-oriented individual. Ideally, you live in the Zurich region or nearby. After training, you can usually start your assignments directly from home and only need to come to the Urdorf site when necessary.

Your tasks

Service, maintenance and repair work on packaging systems
Independent fault finding and troubleshooting
Assembly and commissioning of systems at the customer’s site
Technical support for customers on site and by phone
Internal inspections, overhauls and preparation of machines

Your profile

Completed basic technical training, for example as an automation technician, electronics technician, mechatronics technician, polymechanic or similar
Deep technical understanding and enjoyment of fault finding
Knowledge of mechanics and electrical engineering
Experience as a service technician or in the packaging industry is an advantage
Structured, independent and reliable way of working
Friendly, professional and approachable manner
Enjoyment of direct customer contact
Very good German skills, English skills are an advantage
Driving licence category B
