We are looking for our Environment Branch in Lausanne (VD), a Geology and Natural Hazards Intern - (6 months from January 2027) (m/f/d) 80-100%.
This internship is exclusively open to persons currently enrolled in university studies.
Your tasks
Conduct surveys and measurements in the field (inclinometers, piezometers, etc.) and field observations in natural hazards accompanied by experienced specialists
Processing geodata (webGIS platform)
Participate in modelling projects in geology and natural hazards
Provide support in studies and fieldwork in the areas of natural hazards, geology, hydrogeology, geotechnics and contaminated sites
Your profile
Student currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree at a University/ETH/University of Applied Sciences in geology, environmental sciences, hydrogeology, geotechnics or an equivalent course
Basic knowledge of geology and contaminated site management (an advantage)
Proficiency in GIS tools (ArcGIS or QGIS)
Analytical and synthetic thinking (ability to process data)
Curious and dynamic personality with a sense of initiative
Holder of a category B driving licence
