Role:
In this senior medical role, you take responsibility in an established obesity centre with a broad professional scope and significant scope for design. You work in a highly motivated, interdisciplinary team of the obesity centre and bring your senior specialist expertise into the further development of treatment concepts. The activity includes regular working hours in the consultation and thrives on collegial, cross-site exchange. Depending on suitability and profile, the role can also be taken on as a senior physician with a special function. With appropriate qualifications and interests, there is also the possibility to shape the position in a part-time model.
Responsibilities:
You independently conduct medical consultations for patients with obesity along conservative and operative therapy pathways.
In this role, you lead the outpatient consultation at the Sursee site and, as site manager, take on the organisational and professional development of the obesity centre.
You work closely with an interdisciplinary team and ensure coordinated, sustainable care for patients.
As the senior medical person at the obesity centre, you contribute your own ideas and continuously develop existing processes and treatment offerings.
Qualifications:
- You ideally have a completed specialist title in General Internal Medicine, Endocrinology or the specialisation Visceral Surgery and are interested in the disease pattern of obesity.
- You take on leadership tasks and organisational responsibility in an outpatient setting with pleasure and commitment.
- Interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration is important to you, you communicate clearly and reliably and enjoy networking with various professional groups.
- You approach patients with pronounced empathy and a high level of service orientation.
- You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and keep an overview even in a dynamic outpatient environment.
