To strengthen our team, we are looking for a
Senior Specialist Communication / Media Spokesperson 70–100% (m/f/d)
The following tasks await you with us:
- You work in the newsroom, develop stories, and prepare them appropriately for the channel.
- You take daily responsibility as Chief of Service. In doing so, you keep an eye on the news situation and political events and ensure that all stories are published on the right channel at the right time in the desired quality. If necessary, you coordinate ad hoc measures.
- You respond to media inquiries and organize media events.
- You create wordings, press releases and dossiers, as well as communication guidelines.
- You accompany media professionals during visits to rock laboratories or at the final repository site.
- You occasionally give lectures and tours in rock laboratories.
Your profile:
- You have a (technical) university degree. Ideally, you have further training (CAS, MAS) in corporate communication or related fields and understand what strategic communication is.
- You have worked for several years in a newsroom, ideally also as Chief of Service.
- You have relevant experience as a journalist or extensive experience in media work.
- You have excellent writing skills and feel at home on all channels.
- You have an affinity for technical-scientific topics or are willing to delve deeply into these topics.
- You enjoy working in a team.
- You have a winning appearance, high social competence, and are used to speaking in front of people.
- Your mother tongue is German, and you speak fluent French so that you can respond to French media inquiries.
