Biomedical Analysis Technician at the Clinical Chemistry Service

The Clinical Chemistry Service of the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology (DMLP) is seeking a biomedical analysis technician at 80% - 100% on a permanent contract.

Context

The Lausanne University Hospital Centre (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.

The Clinical Chemistry Service (CCL) is tasked with performing a selection of analyses 24/7 for CHUV services and external clients, ensuring the quality of results. It also participates in teaching and clinical research within the Institution.

Mission

• You perform and technically validate clinical chemistry analyses (adults and paediatrics)
• You participate in the on-call service 7 days a week, 24 hours a day
• You communicate with laboratory clients
• You collaborate in managing the quality management system.

Profile

• You hold a diploma as a biomedical analysis technician ES from the Higher School of Health (ESsanté) or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Swiss Red Cross (www.redcross.ch)
• You are proficient in performing basic care analyses in clinical chemistry
• You have a good ability to work in a team
• You demonstrate rigour, care and discretion.
