Due to an increase in workload, we are looking for a social worker from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

What you can achieve
At the Baar Social Service, you professionally, solution-oriented and on an equal footing accompany and advise people in different life situations. You thus make an important contribution to social security and participation in our community.
You manage files in economic social assistance and take on tasks in voluntary social counselling. In doing so, you clarify personal, financial and social issues, jointly plan appropriate support measures with the affected persons and promote their independence. In addition, you support people in housing emergencies and accompany clients in connection with the community-owned emergency accommodation.
In cooperation with internal and external specialist agencies, you develop viable solutions and contribute your expertise to a committed team.
What you bring with you
You have a completed degree in social work and ideally bring experience in statutory social assistance. You meet people in challenging life situations with appreciation, empathy and a resource-oriented attitude.
You enjoy working independently, take responsibility and at the same time appreciate professional exchange within the team.
Knowledge of KlibNet is an advantage.
