For our client, an internationally active company in the field of optical precision engineering, we are looking for an experienced and meticulous individual as Employee for Flat Polishing (m/f/d). In this demanding role, you will process high-quality flat optics and contribute with your technical know-how and strong quality awareness to the production of precise optical components.

Employee for Flat Polishing (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Independent operation, setup and loading of conventional flat polishing machines
• Professional polishing and processing of flat optics
• Performing optical measurements with interferometers and other testing equipment
• Inspection and assessment of manufactured components
• Documentation of test results and production data
• Carrying out cleaning tasks on machines and equipment
• Ensuring required quality and process standards
• Compliance with regulations regarding orderliness, cleanliness and safety

Your Profile

• Completed training as a precision optics technician or comparable technical basic training
• At least 3 years of professional experience in polishing flat optics
• Experience with Zygo interferometers is an advantage
• Strong technical understanding and fine motor skills
• Very precise, careful and reliable working style
• High quality awareness as well as a strong sense of order and cleanliness
• Independent and responsible way of working
• Resilient and team-oriented personality
• Good German language skills, both spoken and written
• Willingness to work in a two-shift system
