We are looking for a dynamic, inspiring personality with a heart for young people for our locations in Zug (60-70%) and Zurich (30-40%) who will accompany our IT apprentices on their path to a successful professional qualification.
Your new tasks
- You develop and promote the professional, methodological as well as social and personal skills of 15–20 apprentices in the basic IT apprenticeship year at the training centres in Zug and Zurich
- You accompany, develop, lead and qualify young people during their basic training and recognise their strengths and areas for development
- You design and conduct inter-company courses as well as specific Siemens training modules, combining specialist knowledge with practical IT and project tasks
- Support in cross-vocational training processes: e.g. responsibility for the training feedback process (all stakeholders)
- You follow current developments in the ICT sector, analyse new trends and technologies and adapt learning content accordingly or develop new training formats
- You design the training of apprentices according to agile principles (e.g. Scrum), structure learning content in sprints and accompany learning teams as a coach through planning, reviews and retrospectives
- You accompany real, simple IT projects in the form of junior services together with apprentices, promote their personal responsibility and teamwork and support internal applications for vocational training
- You act as a practical trainer for an apprentice in the 2nd year of the IT application development apprenticeship and accompany him/her in his/her professional and personal development in everyday work
- You work in regional IT committees and actively represent Siemens in the vocational training and IT landscape
Your talents and experience
- Completed IT apprenticeship with higher vocational education (HF/FH) in IT or a comparable field, or willingness to obtain this
- Solid professional experience in IT with good to very good knowledge in application and/or platform development
- Experience in training apprentices, ideally with SVEB certificate or comparable qualification, or willingness to complete appropriate further training
- Team player with joy in working with young people and a sense for their individual support
- High motivation, willingness to shape and take responsibility
- You think agile and open, take new paths and bring fresh ideas into training
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills
