Our client, a leading company in the field of railway technology, is seeking support for the team in the "Traction" department at the Turgi location. The product group "Traction Converters" specialises in the manufacture of railway power converters. For the production area of cable assembly, we are looking for motivated professionals who wish to contribute in a dynamic production environment.

Job Description

• Independent manufacture of cable sets (stranded wire, signal, control and power cables) with different numbers of cores and cross-sections based on wiring lists
• Use of manual and electric crimping tools for cable processing
• Reading and understanding technical drawings as well as production documents
• Contributing improvement measures within the framework of the continuous improvement process (CIP)
• Documenting deviations in production records (Red Correction)

We expect

• Experience in a production environment, ideally in electrical engineering or switchgear construction
• Manual skills in the electrical field, preferably in industry or on construction sites (e.g. as an electrician or electromechanic)
• Confident reading and understanding of technical drawings and production documents
• Experience in creating and documenting production deviations
• Willingness to actively participate in the continuous improvement process (CIP)
• Independent, conscientious and precise working style with a high quality standard
