Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced Head of Production with overall responsibility for a technically demanding manufacturing area. The company operates in an industrial environment and combines metal processing, assembly, drive technology, control cabinet construction, and logistics. You will take on a central leadership role with budget and results responsibility and actively contribute as a member of the executive board to the further development of the company.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for production including metal processing, assembly, control cabinet construction, and logistics
Technical and personnel management of the production areas
Responsibility for budget, cost, and resource planning
Ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant manufacturing
Optimisation of production processes, capacities, and manufacturing procedures
Control and further development of production planning and material flows
Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and production standards
Active participation as a member of the executive board in strategic and operational decisions
Qualifications:
Completed training in metal construction or comparable technical basic training
Further training as a master metalworker or comparable higher technical qualification
Several years of leadership experience in production management
Experience in the metal construction industry or a comparable industrial manufacturing environment
Business management training is an advantage
