Your role
You take care of all IBM i topics for our clients. As a communicative team player, you seek exchange within Sharp DX and with clients to offer them the best services. You think "out of the box" and, thanks to your quick comprehension, you recognise connections in problems to create sustainable solutions and improvements.
Your main tasks
- Operation and maintenance of our IBM i Power Cloud
- Implementation of client projects in the IBM i environment
- Support of clients via remote support and on-site
- PreSales support
- Willingness for on-call duty, night and weekend shifts
Your strengths and knowledge
- You have many years of experience with the IBM i operating system as well as in implementing IBM i projects with virtualisation and storage connection.
- You bring very good knowledge in CL programming, BRMS and SQL DB2.
- You have experience handling HMC and PowerVM.
- IBM i Power certifications are desirable.
- Knowledge in WebSphere MQ, high availability solutions (iTera/Mimix), SAN networks as well as IBM Storage are advantageous.
- Experience in programming on IBM i, for example with RPG, Cobol or Java, is a plus.
- You have fluent German skills as well as good English skills.
