Procap Switzerland is the largest self-help and member organization for people with disabilities in Switzerland. As part of a succession and further development arrangement, we are looking for a professionally competent, strong leadership, and socially skilled personality.

Your tasks

• In this central leadership role, you are responsible for the entire finance and controlling department of Procap Switzerland and act as an important interface between operational business, management, and voluntary committees.
• Overall responsibility for the management of accounting and financial controlling of Procap Switzerland
• Responsibility for budget, balance sheet, and annual financial statements as well as active participation in their preparation
• Responsibility for financial planning, budget comparisons, and financial cockpit, including development
• Contact person for the audit office as well as for insurance matters
• Preparation of decision-making and information bases for the finance commission and the central board (including financial plans, ICS) as well as participation in corresponding meetings
• Representation of budget and annual financial statements at the delegates' assembly and at the national presidents' conference (lead with the responsible board member)
• Participation in the national conferences of regional managing directors
• Management and implementation of financial projects, e.g., introduction of a management information system (MIS) for budgeting and cost accounting
• Member of the management conference of Procap Switzerland
• Professional and personnel leadership of the finance and controlling team (3 employees)

Your profile

• For this demanding leadership role, we are looking for a reflective, resilient, and empathetic personality with high professional and social competence as well as diplomatic skill:
• Higher business administration education and/or further training in the finance area
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, especially in the preparation of budget, balance sheet, annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER21, and financial planning
• Experience in personnel and professional leadership of a team in finance and accounting (NPO experience is an advantage)
• Experience with the ERP system MS Dynamics NAV or Business Central
• Project experience in controlling or finance environment as well as MIS
• Strong ability to collaborate with strategic and operational committees
• Very good German and good French skills (level B2)
