Your new role
You will be in contact with our construction-minded and planning clients and support them in implementing their construction projects. In this important role, you will sustainably shape the cityscape of St. Gallen. In the ongoing projects that you will manage in parallel, you will efficiently and purposefully guide the various stakeholders through the building permit process. You will keep an eye on qualitative issues and pay particular attention to ensuring that legal and procedural aspects are adequately considered.

The Office for Building Permits is part of the Directorate of Planning and Construction of the city administration. It accompanies planners and construction-minded individuals throughout the entire process of the building permit procedure, conducts this process, decides on building applications, and submits requests to the building permit commission. Additionally, our office is responsible for ensuring compliance with building regulations. In this area of responsibility, construction consulting primarily supports interested parties and planners until the building permit is granted and ensures procedural coordination.
