For our Modernization division of the Buildings Division (Structural Engineering) in the Zurich region, we are looking for you as a committed and communicative Project Manager General Planning (m/f/d). In this role, you lead projects from the first customer contact to the building permit and thus shape the crucial early phases of our Design Build and other project types. Your workplace is our headquarters "Connect" in Opfikon .
What you will drive
- Overall responsibility for the planning of modernization, conversion, and renovation projects as the general planner or total service provider across all SIA LPH phases
- Building, leading, and managing interdisciplinary planning teams as a central integration instance between the client, planning, and execution
- Developing holistic project solutions considering quality, costs, deadlines, risks, and operation in existing buildings
- Ensuring economically viable and feasible project concepts through variant studies, feasibility analyses, and cost assessments
- Coordinating interfaces between architecture, specialist planning, experts, as well as internal and external service partners
- Ensuring permit capability and integrating requirements from standards, authorities, and existing structures
- Supporting bidding processes, service definitions, and project strategies in GP, TU, and integrated service models
- Further developing standardized service models and planning processes in the modernization area
Why you will succeed
- Completed studies in architecture, civil engineering, or comparable qualification with a focus on integral planning
- Several years of experience in overall management or coordination of projects in GP, TU, or integrated project environments
- Solid knowledge of Swiss standards and procedures (especially SIA LPH and understanding of the general planning role)
- Experience in managing complex projects in existing buildings with increased requirements for coordination, integration, and risk management
- Competence in cost planning, schedule control, variant comparison, and economic optimization of project solutions
- Experience in leading interdisciplinary planning teams and structuring efficient decision-making processes
- High integration competence and understanding of the requirements of clients, planning, and execution
- Structured, solution-oriented, and entrepreneurial working style with a focus on project and company success
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, English skills are an advantage
