As a Construction Manager, you are responsible for the management and supervision of various construction projects from planning to completion. You ensure that the specified requirements are met. Your tasks include the development of projects and renovations, participation in the selection of general and subcontractors, as well as the supervision of construction work and proper execution. You act as the central contact person for external partners and are responsible for needs analysis as well as monitoring costs, deadlines, and quality.
Your tasks:
- Planning, project development, management, and supervision of new and existing construction projects, development plans, and the development of construction areas
- Participating in the technical evaluation of properties and construction projects
- Preparing project studies and preparing proof and administrative documents
- Acting as a contact and coordination person for external partners (architects, authorities, suppliers, subcontractors, general contractors) and internal stakeholders
- Monitoring planning (deadlines, financing, execution) and initiating and proposing corrective measures
Your profile:
- Completed studies as an architect or civil engineer ETH, FH or equivalent training
- Experience in leading and planning large projects in Switzerland, ideally in a general contractor or engineering office
- Excellent knowledge of German, English, and/or French is an advantage.
- Entrepreneurial character with negotiation skills and assertiveness
- High ability to organize, communicate, and coordinate
- Very good knowledge of common IT tools and project management software
