A.H. Meyer & Cie AG is an established Swiss company with around 50 employees and almost 100 years of experience in the fields of import, wholesale, and distribution of mineral oil products. As a leading member of the Swiss AVIA, we reliably supply trade and consumers with fuels and heating oil.
To strengthen our trading department, we are looking for a committed person to start immediately or by arrangement as
Trader / Junior Trader (100%)
Your tasks:
- Purchase / sale of oil products
- Freight negotiations for barges and trains
- Hedging with futures & derivatives
- Position keeping
- P/L calculations
- Pricing monitoring
- Processing and reconciling cash flow control
- Various control and monitoring tasks
- General accounting correspondence and administration
- Deputy tasks within the team
Your profile:
- Completed commercial basic training or university of applied sciences
- Experience in commodity trading, ideally in the Swiss oil market
- Reliable, structured, and precise way of working
- Independent, service-oriented, and team-capable personality
- Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel)
- Very good German & English skills, spoken and written, required
