The Pastoral Area Region Sursee LU (pastoralraumregionsursee.ch) comprises around 15,000 Catholics from five parishes. Together with many volunteers, we are committed to a lively and inspiring community and jointly face the challenges of the times and the associated adjustments.
For the further development of our organisation and a future-oriented collaboration in the Pastoral Area, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a complement to the management team:
Head of Administration 80%
Together with the Pastoral Area Leader, you will be jointly responsible for:
- the strategic orientation and prioritisation of the Pastoral Area
- the organisation and further development of the Pastoral Area
- the design of role-based collaboration (clarity about roles, responsibilities and decision-making processes)
- collaboration with the board of the church community association and the church councils
In addition, you are responsible for:
- the development and implementation of efficient and innovative forms of management
- leading staff in supporting areas
- personnel management of all employees at the interface with the personnel department of the church community association
- specific future topics, such as sustainability, volunteer management
You bring with you
- A tertiary-level qualification (university or higher technical college) or a comparable qualification through further education and professional experience.
- Further training in NPO management, leadership, HR, organisational development or change management is an advantage.
- Curiosity for designing and testing new forms of collaboration and for innovative ways of organisational design, as well as motivation to continue the initiated organisational development.
- Good knowledge of the structures of the Roman Catholic Church, or openness to get to know them, as well as interest in church development.
- Competence and experience in leadership as well as enjoyment in leading.
- Express desire to live a shared leadership model as a trio (with the Pastoral Area Leader and the senior priest).
- Willingness to work at evening and weekend appointments.
