About the job

Here we treat our patients across the entire spectrum of internal medicine, including neurological, angiological and rheumatological procedures. Our team consists of over 30 medical specialists representing most internal medicine subspecialties. In the fields of gastrointestinal, vascular and tumour diseases, we work in a distinctly interdisciplinary manner.
We are particularly committed to medical training. As a teaching hospital of the University of Zurich, we teach students from various years and prepare assistant and senior doctors for their future work in practices or hospitals.

Your responsibilities include
- patient care before, during and after examinations (including recovery room)
- assisting with endoscopic procedures (gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, endosonography, stent placements, functional diagnostics etc.)
- delegated propofol sedation during endoscopic procedures
- preparation of transabdominal sonographies
- assisting with liver punctures
- blood sampling and preparations for our outpatient clinic patients
- material management
- performance documentation
- various ordering tasks
You
- have completed professional training as a Dipl. Nurse HF/FH or Medical Practice Assistant
- have experience in the field of gastroenterology or endoscopy
- enjoy medical technology
- work independently and maintain good interdisciplinary collaboration with doctors, and are willing to actively contribute
- enjoy a role that involves patient contact but also a high proportion of technical operational tasks
- are a warm and motivated personality and enjoy working in a lively environment
- already have experience in endoscopy (advantageous)
